Today, Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Headquarters was visited by Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, who presided over a meeting to discuss the recommendations made by the Anomaly Committee-Business and Anomaly Committee-Technical to fix errors found in the Finance Bill-2023.
The two committees were established by FBR Chairman Asim Ahmad on June 13 to find and fix any business- and technical-related irregularities found in the Finance Bill-2023 and to make suggestions to FBR for fixing them.
Tariq Bajwa, the Special Assistant to the PM on Finance, the Chairman of the FBR, and other top representatives from the Revenue Division and the Finance Ministry also attended the meeting.
After reviewing the proposals made by both committees, the finance minister declared that the Finance Bill-2023 will include any workable solutions.
